Storyboarding - (re)presenting representations

During rotation one, I was interested in the idea of mapping the relationship that a user has with an architectural space, through examining the scale and volume of the space and it's effect on the user's emotional and behavioral response. Since the site contained a series of different spaces, I employed a collision mapping method to generate a composite drawing, which in turn generated the model.

The two embracing forms were intended to mimic intimacy as well as generating tension through their differing scale and volume in relation to each other. The static exterior vs the dynamic interior created movement and invited viewers to play, and thus generate their own reading of the mapped spaces.
